Sourdough Waffles

This one is another 2 day process, using discarded sourdough starter.  One the first day mix:

2 cups flour

2 cups buttermilk

2 T. sugar

1 cup starter.  Mix well and cover with a tea towel.

On the next morning add:

2 large eggs

1/4 cup melted butter

3/4 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

This makes a lot of waffles, so if you don’t have a crowd, cut this one in half.
