sourdough tortillas

Start this dough the day before you want hot fresh tortillas.

1/2 cup sourdough starter

1/2 cup milk (or water)

4 T. lard or coconut oil

1 tsp sea salt

2 cups white wheat flour (or any flour)

Knead dough for 3 minutes.  Add enough flour that it is sticky but not messy.  Let the dough sit 8 to 24 hours.

Roll out walnut size balls on parchment paper with a little flour.  Cook on medium high heated lightly oiled cast iron pan.  Turn within a minute, remove and cool.
